Colors of Vietnam: A Journey to the Incense Village

Colors of Vietnam: A Journey to the Incense Village

As I stepped into the Incent village, I was greeted by a breathtaking sight: rows upon rows of vibrant incense sticks laid out to dry under the warm Vietnamese sun. The sticks, arranged in intricate patterns resembling flowers, creating a mesmerizing sea of color that seemed to dance in the gentle breeze.

I was fascinated to learn that each incense stick is carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques passed down through generations. The process begins with the blending of fragrant oils and natural ingredients, which are then meticulously rolled onto slender bamboo sticks. These sticks are then left to dry in the sun, a crucial step that allows the incense to fully mature and develop its rich aroma.

Walking among the rows of drying incense sticks, I was enveloped in a symphony of scents, from the sweet fragrance of jasmine to the earthy aroma of sandalwood. It was a sensory experience unlike any other, and I found myself utterly captivated by the beauty and craftsmanship on display.

Here is a short video I made with my drone.
Enjoy 🙂
